Brisbane. Bribie Island is made up 85% national and marine parks bicentennial gardens.
Bribie Island is home to an amazing array of wildlife – dolphin, dugong and turtle cruise the calm waters of the Pumicestone Passage with the majestic Glass House Mountains as the backdrop.
Over 300 species of birds visit the island each year, roosting in trees along the foreshore and feasting along the sand flats.
Kangaroos and Emu may join you for a game of golf and the occasional dingo may be seen along the National Park beaches.
There are three shopping centers, coffee shops, great restaurants, modern contemporary 4.5 star accommodation, world class golfing
and still the best fish and chip shops serving delicious locally caught fish and seafood.
You can still camp within the National Park along the surf beach (in designated areas) or walk through protected heathlands.
