This is really a "floating" Day Spa. Found on a Cruise Ship and offering a range of fitness, beauty or relaxation treatments.
Day Spa
A Day Spa offers spa services such as facials, massage, waxing, aromatherapy, body and skin treatments on a day-use basis only.
Destination Spa
Similar to a Resort Spa in offering a wide range of services that are usually program based and require you to stay onsite. However, these establishments are normally 100% dedicated to health and well being as opposed to being a holiday resort.
Eco-Spa
An environmentally friendly spa establishment that predominantly uses natural products and is set in an eco-environment.
Medi-Spa
A Medi-Spa offers treatments that combine Eastern and Western medicinal wellness with conventional treatments which focus largely on the result (and not the relaxing journey)
Resort Spa
Located within a Resort and offering a wide range of services that are usually program based. Programs will focus on: Fitness, diet, massage, facials and other personal care treatments and undertaking these programs would be the main reason for travel to this particular resort.
